Upside is an advanced reworking of the Beside collection designed by Massimiliano Adami in 2011: we have selected the most representative elements and translated them into an expanded, highly decorative offering of significant expressive impact, thanks to the work of our lab which interpreted the design of the original project by applying new technologies.

The experimental path has resulted in a modern interpretation of Adami's mosaic, utilizing a unique combination of industrial techniques and traditional artistry. This new edition retains the artistic essence of the original work and showcases the designer's signature style, effectively showcasing the full potential of his concepts.

Upside comes in a glossy finish, enhancing the vibrancy of the colors and creating an impactful aesthetic. The reflective surface interacts with light and amplifies its three-dimensional appearance, giving the material a dynamic and lively quality. The collection introduces a modern visual code that challenges viewers to see the material in a new light and imagine creative uses that align with current interior design trends.

The grid serves as the primary identifier in this collection of tiles. Initially inspired by the back of the tiles, this geometric pattern takes on a new character in Upside, transforming into a visually striking decoration. Made up of delicate lines that intersect at perfect angles, the grid creates a consistent and captivating impression. The spaces are enhanced and energized by the glossy glaze, highlighting the graphics and accentuating the vibrant colors.
