Floor Studio was born from a lifelong curiosity for design, a love of beautiful materials, and the belief that creating a home should be as enjoyable as living in it.

I'm Salomé Silva, the founder of Floor Studio.

Growing up alongside my father, a skilled carpenter and craftsman, I learned to appreciate the beauty of things made with care. The textures, the colours, the details, and the stories behind every material. That curiosity eventually led me into fashion design, where I developed my eye for colour, composition and creative expression.

Years later, I found myself drawn to a different canvas: interiors.

Floor Studio became the place where these worlds came together. A space to explore flooring, wall finishes, colour and material combinations, and all the possibilities that come with them. 

With nearly a decade of experience, Floor Studio has helped homeowners, architects and designers navigate the world of floor and wall materials, combining product knowledge with a creative eye and a personal approach.

Today, Floor Studio is about more than finding the right floor or wall finish. It's also about helping people navigate choices, discover what works for them, and feel confident bringing their ideas to life.
